EcoReps is a peer-to-peer sustainability education program. The program was piloted in Mills Hall in Spring 2009. Students designated as EcoReps are responsible for their hall’s sustainable engagement and knowledge. EcoReps are the go-to people for resident students with questions concerning the environment. They plan hall events centered on sustainability, publicize environmental services and events on campus, and are the voice of environmentally concerned students to the administration. They work to promote energy conservation and participation in recycling programs through education, events, the Green Olympics and America Recycles Day.
If you are interested in becoming an EcoRep, contact the Student Environmental Center at firstname.lastname@example.org for information on upcoming positions.
