Co-Director
I am one of the Co-Directors of the SEC and my major is Environmental Science with a concentration in ecology. I started with the SEC as a gardener 2 years ago, and I became a Co-Director last semester. I joined the SEC because I am passionate about nature and environmentalism, and I wanted to make our campus a better place. I’m looking forward to a great year!
Co-Director
I joined the SEC because I am passionate about plants and nature. The SEC is a great way to take part in sustainability efforts and help students/student orgs learn how to be more involved and environmentally responsible!
Project Coordinator
I worked as the Eco-Rep last semester, and I’m so excited to continue working with the SEC as their Project Coordinator! The SEC has opened up many opportunities to further my involvement on campus, as well as learn about and promote sustainability.

Eco-Rep
I joined the SEC to help promote sustainability on campus! I want to be able to educate people on ways they can make a difference in their day-to-day lives. Working with the SEC allows for like-minded individuals to collaborate and leave a lasting positive impact on campus.

Gardener
I joined the SEC because I wanted to get involved on campus and leave a positive impact on my surrounding environment here in Asheville. I really enjoy being outdoors and want to incorporate my previous knowledge and experience in gardening and sustainability toward the campus gardens!
Gardener
Throughout high school I worked at a sustainable urban farm and it made me realize my passion for it. I think the ability to work with land to produce food in a way that is healthy for us and the Earth is very cool!

Gardener
I joined the SEC to help preserve healthy green spaces on campus and in the Asheville area. Gardening is a great way to learn about natural ecosystems and sustainable harvesting for the community.
