The Project
We have implemented a campus wide composting project in the residence halls. The aim is to capture and productively implement organic waste being generated in the dorms. We also have advocated for use of compost in all of our campus dining locations as well as moving to put compost bins in academic buildings.
How do I compost?
Come sign out a compost bin from the SEC office (Highsmith 218), and pick up compostable bags if you need them. If you have questions about what can be composted, pay attention to signs at dining locations on campus, or stop by our office to talk to us about it! Once full, your bags can be taken to any of the drop-off locations on campus.
